As a Social Media Strategist, you will be responsible for coming up with and implementing Social Media strategies for clients based on briefs, running online campaigns, reporting on and assessing campaign performances, as well as overseeing and supervising the day-to-day work of the community managers by reviewing the content strategies and posts and relaying performance reports to the community managers in order to optimise clients' social media activities.
Responsibilities - Create and implement social media strategies based on the clients' campaigns - Conduct studies and assess clients' already existing social media presence to provide feedback on what's being done right, wrong, and what can be improved - Be knowledgable about the latest in social media trends, to-do's, and not-to-dos, especially for Facebook and Twitter. - Come up with and implement Social Media activations (such as applications and contests) to drive engagement on the page - Conducting PPC online advertising campaigns (Facebook, and preferable knowledge in Google Adwords is a plus) - Coordinate with clients and presenting to them the various activations, strategies, and report campaigns to keep them up-to-date on everything that's happening on their social media channels - Using Facebook Page and Ads insights create reports and assess page performances as well as online campaign performances - Have knowledge in a variety of contest tools that can be used (such as Offerpop, Woobox, or other services) - Coordinate with the Community Managers to come up with content strategies as well as posts to ensure that all content is social media friendly and efficient - Coordinate and followup with designers to ensure all social media related design deliverables are met and are up to social media standards (proper layout, proper dimensions…etc. )
