The British Embassy is recruiting a Temporary Driver for 6 months. All applicants are invited to deliver their CV to the Embassy, for the attention of the HR Manager, by 14:00 on Friday April 5th, 2013.
Duties include
- Driving & other daily transport activities ( such as mail delivery, collection of papers ,etc..)
- Maintaining the official vehicles (Armoured, Soft Skin )
- Liaison with the Lebanese Authorities ( MFA, Customs, General surety, etc..)
- Liaison with the Vehicle registration department for official and private vehicles
- Ensure that all Embassy official car documents are updated on time.
- To implement and execute the driver standing instructions for official vehicles.
Qualifications
- Official driving license is preferable
- English speaking candidates are preferable
- Courteous and high sense of team work
The British Embassy in Beirut offers a competitive remuneration package in line with local labour law. Specific training and mentoring for the role will be provided for the successful candidate. The successful candidate will be subject to background checks and security clearance.
